Lovely afternoon

We took a lovely little stroll out to the park today and enjoyed the girls as they played on the swings and zipped down the slides. The cool breezy air, my love and my girls, and the dusk made this a lovely afternoon.

Cooling Off

So we're not in the hot summer months of wanting to cool off just yet, but I thought it would be fun for Symph to practice. She got to make her first batch of homemade popsicles for this year. I'm sure she'll have many more attempts at this and will get better and better!



Please excuse her dress up choice for this morning. I think she may be a fashion designer with all the different types of dresses she wants me to make her with this same piece of fabric! She had to add the Cakies too!

Wicked....

I had a blast a couple of weeks ago watching Wicked with Krysten, Jessica, and Marisa, and came home ranting and raving about the musical. So I begged Dom to go with me and he really didn't seem interested. But, I guess I can say I'm a bit wicked! Ha! He really wanted this deal that was on ebay, and so the bargain was on! You get the steal and we see Wicked with Symph. And so here is how we spent part of our Sunday!

Starting Off the Weekend...

A bit late, but hey, I can back date the blog, right? Today the girls and I got ready to have a packed and fun filled day with our friends! We walked to the park and had a picnic lunch with our newest friends, True and Brave, and our favorite little guy, Isaac. Sidewalk chalk, bats and balls, even bubbles were added to the slides and swings. Needless to say the girls had fun, but I think I had even more fun then they did with Marisa and Ruby! I forgot my camera, but this was the result of so much fun for Bella...

We came home briefly, and while Bella napped I got to take in some of the beautiful flowers popping up in my yard.

And my beautiful little sidekick tagged along!

I then rushed in the house, grabbed Symph and Bella and we were off to see Faith and Verity. It has been way too long since we have spent time with them, and although the visit wasn't very long, it was great to catch up and have the girls play together.

Time to pack the kids into the car, get home, pick up Dom and meet up with the family for my little sister's birthday dinner. The big 17, Mariachi style.
