Fun at the zoo

My mom has been wanting to take the girls to the zoo for quite some time, and she happened to have some time off to take them this week, which was perfect for the girls! My dad hates the zoo because of the caged up animals, but at least he got to see it through the perspective of the girls who have never seen or experienced this before, and I know he loved it. My parents were great with the girls and the girls loved spending this day with them.

Bella made us laugh quite a few times, as she offered a relaxing kangaroo some powder, thinking he was getting his diaper changed :) She kept calling out to the animals "wow, wow" and even clapped loudly to get the monkeys to show off.

Symph was so inquisitive about the animals and was loving all the animals, especially being up close and brushing the goats. She made one thing clear, she does not like monkeys. I don't get it, don't all kids love monkeys? She was ready to cry whenever we went up to them. Maybe my endearing name of "Monkey" for the girls isn't so endearing for her?

This was a perfect day to take a stroll at the zoo. The girls got little souvenir cups from my parents, and we were headed home. I loved the exit from the zoo as my dad took turns carrying them on his shoulders and my mom took turns twirling them.
